all fine, but cramped rooms

Had an amazing time with my friends! The outdoor adventures were epic, especially hiking the scenic trails and biking around the beautiful landscapes. The staff were friendly, and the cozy cottages were perfect for our group. Don’t forget...  

The cozy cottage room offered an authentic feel, and the prompt breakfast service enhanced the experience. Porridge was a delightful highlight of the meal, adding a warm touch to the mornings. However, the cabin was cramped and poorly lit, making privacy difficult. We faced multiple issues, including a lack of hot water affecting our stay significantly. Moreover, the staff's response to our concerns felt dismissive and unhelpful, contributing to a frustrating experience.

The rooms have a charming Viking theme, though mine felt a bit small. The breakfast was decent with local options, and the restaurant had a warm atmosphere with live music. However, the noise from the laundry during the night was quite disruptive. It's a nice stay overall, recommended for those who appreciate unique decor.

We had a fantastic family stay here! The kids loved exploring the nearby hiking trails, and having our dog with us made it even better. The food at the on-site restaurant was a highlight, especially the delicious breakfast...

Cozy room, friendly service, enjoyable atmosphere.

Just a good match for spending night in Hafnarfjordur with reasonable price. The huge bed and views over the harbour were great. Check out the restaurant bar opposite for a cozy spot when it rains.

Family with children quirky getaway

We had an unexpected surprise when we caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights from our room after a long day of sight-seeing. The bathroom heated the towels so nice, it was like wrapping ourselves in comfort after those chilly Icelandic nights....  

I had a nice stay that included a cozy breakfast. I liked that I could take breakfast back to my room easily. The location was convenient for exploring and getting to Reykjavik. I saw the northern lights at a nearby park. It was a unique experience that...  

The Cottage was cozy and warm, making it feel like home. Beds were super comfy, perfect for my bad back. The space was peaceful, ideal for relaxing, and I didn't feel gross about the bedding! Also loved that they agreed to let us take breakfast back to our room.

The outdoor geothermal hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after a day exploring! Plus, the unique Viking decor really set the atmosphere.

The rooms were warm and quiet, equipped with a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and a private bathroom. The hot tub and sauna were amazing for relaxation after a day out. Breakfast had a good variety with fresh fruits. Location was nice, close to shops and restaurants without being noisy. Very cozy atmosphere overall.
